Shake Shake Kaboom
Friday March 25, 2005
Two loud explosions rock the early morning of last night, a quick glance through the dining room window and one could see a blazing inferno engulfing the corner first floor of the multistory car park. Residents from all three neighbouring flats rushed and flocked down to see what was happening, some scrambled to move their cars away from the flame. Motorbikes, at least a dozen of them, parked along the corner were stripped down to their alloy frames plus the smell of burn tyres and fuel lingered in the air. Luckily, before the fire could spread to the other parked cars or even to the above floors, fire fighters managed to put off the flames before it spreads further.
Explosions at the back of your house is something the whole neighbourhood had not experienced nor seen before, you could tell by how strangers, during any other day stood side by side inquiring and murmuring about the destruction. Latest news was that, police managed to track down and catch the culprit, it turned out, the infamous arsonist for the night; a crazy lady. Apparently peeved at the fact the motorbikes were blocking the path for her trolley, decided to lit up a cloth and stuck it at one of the bikes and kaboom! Thank God no one was injured in it, hope those affected bikes are insured as well. What a spectacle.
