Note: Visual graphic is stripped off. There are few reasons as to why:

  1. MS (MicroSoft) has finally ended development on IE (Internet Explorer) Mac browser - which this site no longer supports.
  2. You are either viewing on a handheld or mobile device, a screen reader, a text-browser or an archaic browser.

In any case, site content is still made accessible. However, please consider upgrading to a modern web browser. Thank you.

So Much For Standards

Designing for the web is a tedious task which can and will drain the life out of you. Just when the website is almost perfect and ready to be unfold to the world, browser and platform issues plague you. What a direct and hard knockout blow it is to the face.

Basically, what it means, extra time (lots of it) is needed to search and squash all the bugs so that the website presentation is consistent in all browsers in both PC and Mac platform. To simplify that further, it means countless more sleepless nights and an extended deadline on top of an already extended one.

Of course, all this is nothing new in the field as it comes with the territory. However, it is very depressing to say the least just when you thought the late nights are long working hours are justified. So much so that I desperately need a holiday after this. Oh yeah, I forgot, I’ve got my National Service to look forward to. How timely appropriate.
