Note: Visual graphic is stripped off. There are few reasons as to why:

  1. MS (MicroSoft) has finally ended development on IE (Internet Explorer) Mac browser - which this site no longer supports.
  2. You are either viewing on a handheld or mobile device, a screen reader, a text-browser or an archaic browser.

In any case, site content is still made accessible. However, please consider upgrading to a modern web browser. Thank you.

Typolution - Purely Typographic Treatment

The above short animation goes to show that even with a heavy subject on industralisation and global warming, the output can still be an interesting and unique one just by applying a simple concept of utilising and manipulating different characters in a type family.

The concept might be a simple one but I’m sure both the thought process and execution are anything but. The motions play alot with varying perspectives and flows with the moosiq which climaxes well. All part of communicating the message across elegantly in the end.

Its those things that make you realised, “hey why didn’t I think of that?”

A perfect example of how simplicity can work wonders.

I really like this clip.. It’s great how they used everything on the keyboard to make up the entire scene… Esp with the ‘c’s growing on trees.. Like showing how C-sons change and stuff. I’m sure you can think of sthg equally brilliant, if not better :) cheers!

Thinking is not the problem, its the technicalities and execution that is for me! heh.

amazing. it is really one of those, why i didn’t think of that moment like you mentioned. In relation with global warming, i think it’s perfect to match up the current technology in digital media form to convey a message.

Where with the norm, we use words to convey, but with the animation, the letters is no where near a word but it still managed to deliver.
