United On Track
Thursday January 26, 2006

Liverpool might have won the European cup five times compared to us twice but we have won countless Premiership titles over the decade evidently outshining their own domestic record. So coming to Old Trafford with their chins up high, loud with their boastful chants about their European (only) success makes the narrow but deserved late win even more sweeter than in any other previous encounters.
Thus, within just four days, United have beaten the visiting Scousers from Mersyside thanks to a late header by Ferdinand and will also be marching into Cardiff for the Carling Cup final thanks to a victory last night against Blackburn. We might have conceded the Premiership to Chelsea and have not been good enough for Europe but at least there is still hope of salvation for some silverware at the end of the season.
We have learn much lessons the hard way in the last few seasons and I’m positive the team is going to mature and gel further. That can only mean we will get stronger as time passes by. Look out for United in the years to come, I guarantee we will still be up there challenging for honours in all fronts and reign supremacy in England once again. For now, let us just focus on winning some silverware for the trophy cabinet yeah?
